idobi’s Carnival of the Damned Halloween Party
For idobi’s first Halloween party I was part of the small team organising the entire event. From researching and contacting vendors, to creating partnerships, to organising the guest list and sending invites, a lot of preparation went into the big day. The idobi studio was draped in a black & white circus tent, carnival games and treats were packed in, and the music was taken care of. I had a hand in every aspect of the party, including designing the carnival-themed posters advertising Captain Cuts and Tyler Posey’s band Five North who were scheduled to perform.
I worked on forming partnerships with WhistlePig Whiskey to provide signature cocktails, as well as Miss Hannah’s Popcorn and Cotton Candy Girls for sweet treats. My team hand-selected catering for a bite-sized carnival food menu to be served throughout the party. We also had a caricature artist, a photo booth with idobi branding on every photo, and a branded smoke lounge thanks to a partnership with Old Pal.
The gift bags I organised and individually packed included a bottle of WhistlePig 10 Year Rye Whiskey, some Miss Hannah’s popcorn, and Shear Revival’s Crystal Lake Pomade and Fletcher Skin Balm. To make the gift bag pop, I helped design a signature idobi Carnival of the Damned 2019 glass, made from up-cycled wine bottles.
The event was a hit, featuring rockstar and industry guests who posted about the exclusive event for days afterwards.
