Inbox Jukebox Presents:
Charlotte Sands’ New Song “Out of My Head” ft. Aaron Gillespie

Shortly after I helped launch idobi’s weekly new music roundup column Inbox Jukebox, publicists and labels began reaching out about having their artists spotlighted. For the music the team loved most, we created Inbox Jukebox Presents: A premiere-style column dedicated to one artist or band, featuring exclusive quotes and songs. My team helped push Charlotte Sands and spotlighted her as an artist to watch, so when she partnered with Underøath’s Aaron Gillespie it only made sense that my team would be the ones to present the single.

Lace-up your boots and get ready to fight with this stomper of a song on play. Today’s Inbox Jukebox Presents comes from Charlotte Sands—her new track “Out of My Head” featuring Aaron Gillespie is a fiery anthem for breaking free from a twisted relationship.

“This song feels like a part of me that I haven’t been able to fully experiment with until now,” Charlotte says. “Out of My Head” smolders and ignites, pulling you in close with soft yet darkly alluring verses before bursting into flames in the chorus. You can feel the energy she’s poured into every part of the track. “I’m so excited for it to finally be out in the world.”

The song cuts deep to pull out a pure rush of emotions. It’s clear how cathartic and meaningful “Out of My Head” is to Charlotte—from the depth of the lyrics to the massive sound that fuels it. She continues, “Getting to constantly push myself creatively is what makes the songwriting process so exciting and I’m really proud of what came out of it.”

Adding Aaron Gillespie fuels the song’s firepower. The drumming legend adds a compelling beat that keeps your heart racing, while the guitars underscore Charlotte’s vocals. “Out of My Head” is a challenge to anyone who’s ever made you feel less than who you truly are—and it’s taking Charlotte Sands to new heights. “My goal is to continuously push my artistic boundaries and expand the walls of whatever boxes I might be put in until they’re non-existent and all that exists are songs I love made with people I love.”

“‘Out of My Head’ smolders and ignites, pulling you in close with soft yet darkly alluring verses before bursting into flames in the chorus. You can feel the energy she’s poured into every part of the track.”
